A Journey Home

As with many young dreamers from small towns, I wanted to explore the world—a journey that took me from “Hotlanta” overseas to Kyiv, Ukraine, to Charleston’s cobblestone charm and finally returning home.

That restless journey taught me something invaluable: there is dignity in honest work. And I fell into the complex world of payment processing and payroll—where business owners were victim to predatory practices: oversold on unnecessary POS systems, trapped in leases, and were gradually worn down by escalating fees and commission-driven agents.

I have a deep respect for entrepreneurs and small business owners who pour their hearts into their ventures, working endless hours, and deserving advocates who understand their struggles.

I’ve built relationships rooted in genuine care for each business owner’s success with a simple mission: to restore integrity to an industry that too often lacks it. I answer every call and respond to every email because trust, once earned, must be carefully tended.

I approach businesses not as a vendor, but as an educator and ally. And when my business day ends, you might find me crafting my latest novel or mentoring fellow writers, playing tennis or humbling myself on the golf course.

From small-town roots to global adventures and back home again, every chapter of my life and every experience has prepared me to serve those who strive to build something of their own.
